UNIFORMS

Regular Days (Not Gym Days)

• Students in Kindergarten through 8th Grades wear the Dress Uniform consisting of red or gray polo style shirts (with or without a school logo), plaid jumpers or plaid skirts/skorts, black pants or shorts, and plain red or embroidered red (not hoodie) school sweatshirts if cold. Unless in Preschool, pants and shorts should be black trouser style, with pockets and a zipper, not leggings or jeans and not skin tight.

Designated Gym Days Grades K-8

• Students in Kindergarten through 8th Grades wear the Gym Uniform consisting of solid red T shirts (with the school logo or plain with no logo) and red sweatshirts (not hoodies) having the St. Alphonsus logo or plain red. Red, black, or light gray knit shorts and sweatpants (solid, no stripes or logos) can be purchased at any store. Dennis Uniforms also sells the red knit shorts or red sweatpants. They do not sell gray ones. Students must have running or gym shoes on gym days.

All students must wear gym/tennis shoes on gym days.

• Other footwear cannot be worn on the gym floor.  Gym/tennis shoes are recommended for every school day.  Open toed shoes or sandals are not allowed.  If snow boots are worn to school, students must have shoes to change into. 

Preschool Every Day

• Preschoolers should wear the red or gray polo style shirts, soft red knit embroidered dresses, black pants or shorts (not jeans, red sweatshirts if cold.

• It is ok for Preschoolers to wear black knit pants or shorts also. The pants and shorts can be purchased at any store. 

• Preschoolers do not wear the Gym Uniform.

• Please send in a large ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name filled with extra clothing (does not have to be uniform clothing).
